I notice a pattern in our reading.
In Genesis 5:18, Jared was 162 years old before he became a father.
He was very mature when he begat Enoch. Jared must have taught Enoch very much about God, through his wisdom.
Notice Enoch did not live long on this earth, God took him away. Yet, Enoch’s son, Methuselah, has the longest live span recorded in History.
Has anyone else notice this pattern?

Kid.

Hi all. Since I have today off from work and time on my hands, I going to reply to myself.
Today's reading in the Catechism is very interesting about "The Knowledgde of God According to the Church."
What I got out of it is, God has innate in us the desire to know him.

I alway enjoy this statement:

The power of the soul is called INTELLECT.
The goal or object of the INTELLECT is TRUTH*.
The WILL has the power to chose, just as the INTELLECT naturally seeks TRUTH.

The Will naturally seeks good.

(* Ultimate TRUTH is GOD).

Very good, Kid. And did you also notice that
    The Ultimate GOODNESS is GOD.
Therefore, the will naturally seeks its goodness in God.
In addition, there is the argument from Beauty. Once again, the soul has the power to recognize Beauty, and it naturally seeks it as something proper to creation (harmonious order). Therefore, as expected of the Creator,
    The Ultimate BEAUTY is GOD.
