I will try very hard to be there. If something happens (like my famous stomach problem) and I can't come please PM me your address so I can send you your Catholic Gear.

Everybody needs lots of Catholic Gear.

Ali, you may not want to tell us (before sending pics) about your dress.

However, did you really buy those sky-high heels? :dude:

I'm so happy and excited for you.

There's an old, old song that my aunt used to sing as she did chores--

"Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life, At Last I've Found You!"

'Twould make a nifty wedding song for a Catholic, if such a song is
allowed at Catholic weddings.

I'll bet Rick has heard of that old song, though he had not yet been born
during its greatest popularity.

Annie, it would be so cool if you make it!  I'm looking forward to meeting you :)

And, yes, Becky I did buy those high heels!  They weren't the highest out there, but definately a bit more than my regular shoes ;)  I tried to find a picture online of them and the dress, but wasn't able too.  LOL

You will post pictures, won't you (he says, holding alligator in a threatening manner)??

What time Saturday?  I want to say a prayer for you at that time!

I plan on it, if Annie makes it, and takes pix she has my permission to post them before me ;)  Dh and I are going away overnight that night, then I work every day after that until Friday.  But I'll try to squeeze in a minute or two to post some pictures :D  And not just because you threatened me with your pet, either.

It starts at 10 am Saturday (eastern :P)

Thanks for your prayers.

ONE MORE DAY!!!

Thanks for all your prayers this past year and listening to me whine about taking so long ;)

Hopefully it doesn't take longer.  Dh got the pennance service mixed up for our parrish.  He thought it was last night.  It was Wednesday.  I called Father when we realized, but he hasn't returned the call yet.  If dh messes this up for me $@^&%#!  He is in big trouble!  ROFLOL {said tounge in cheek} ;)  Regular confession is right before Mass on Saturday, or after mass on Tuesday (I think).  And dh is at work all day today.  So it's either tonight at the rectory, or before our service tomorrow morning.  {crosses fingers}

Ok, it's done!  It was so awsome.  Father had little booklets made up for us and everything.  It was all so nice.  He did a wonderful job :)

For me, it made me feel very full to have all this happen.  Annie did not make it (I missed you, hope all is well!), but several others were there for me.  I was surprised to see some of my fellow CCD teachers there to support us.  I couldn't have asked for a better day.

For dh and myself to have the chance to repeat our vows in church with God as our witness, it's like a new start in our marriage.

Here are some pictures, but sorry, no good shots of the shoes! :P  LOL

Of us after it's all said and done . . .

My sponsor and myself . . .

During our marriage ceremony . . .

Being baptized . . .

Being annointed . . .

And just to show you how well soon to be seven year olds really do pay attention . .

Again,  Thank You so much for your prayers and support and advice during this time.  Father mentioned more than once how long it took to get it all done, and they kind of patience we must have.  He doesn't know the half of it ;)  I felt your prayers and well wishes with me yesterday.

All my love,
Ali

I'm so happy for you!!  And not just for you but for all of us, because we care so much about people "doing things right" in the RCC.  It's a great, great day, and I know heaven was rejoicing!  Congratulations, and I love the pics, especially your son during prayer!  God bless

BTW, you looked radiant, the dress was perfect!
