May I point out that "David" is named Eli, and it just so happens he's the second quarterback named Manning in a row to win.  The Manning family happens to be from New Orleans!

And Eli joins his brother Peyton, Terry Bradshaw, and Doug Williams as Super Bowl winning quarterbacks from Louisiana.

Next year it's the Giants vs. the Colts in the Manning Bowl!!!!!

And Archie and Olivia will be in a mental institution!

I was hoping for that this year - and New Orleans should be proud. This reminds me of the NYJ in 1969.

That game was INTENSE.  Man.  I nearly lost my voice from it (but hey, we had the blessing of throats after Mass tonight before the game-- maybe it'll make my bronchitis go away?), but it was surely exciting.

Although, I have to say that I was quite apalled by the porno commercial.  On primetime TV?  I couldn't believe it.

And the House episode afterwords.  *dies*  Ah-mazing.

Honestly.  I don't watch tv hardly ever.  In fact, besides House (which is one hour per week), I don't see a television screen.

Go Giants!!!!!

It's not my first error.  Last year I picked the Saints.

I should also mention Jake Delhomme as a Louisiana quarterback, although he didn't win, and Bobby Hebert who won the USFL championship.  And that doesn't include players who went to college here, just the ones born in Louisiana.

Archie who?

And who chose to live in Louisiana when he was drafted by the Saints, and continues to choose to operate the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux, Louisiana, every year (even though Terry Bradshaw said it was in Mississippi), guaranteeing future generations of great Louisiana quarterbacks.

We almost claim Brett Favre, since Kiln is so close to the border!

Did I miss something?  I certainly didn't see that!  I guess it's a good thing I got up to reload my plate.

It was near the beginning of the game, sometime during the first quarter, I believe.  The commercial was promoting going to a certain website to look at a woman's "exposure".  It had the "viewer discretion" disclaimer.  I couldn't believe it.
