My dd and I attended a confirmation meeting last Sunday and the speaker handed out several CDs from Fr. Larry Richards whose ministry is The Reason for Our Hope. I've listened to two of them, The Mass Explained and Confession and thoroughly enjoyed them both!
Just thought I'd share,
Trish

I just listened to the Confession one the other day. He was refreshingly 'clear.' Not much left to the imagination, but I think kids need to hear that. No beating around the bush, there, no sirree!!

| The Mass Explained CD was one of the first big influences in my exploration of the Catholic Church. It is excellent! Anyone can order it and the one on Confession for free or a small donation from the Mary Foundation.

| I've listened to part of one of his talks. Really good. I like him. I think he's going to be at the parish closest to my home parish for a Lenten mission. I'm sad I'm not going to be home for it.

I would love to hear him in person! I gained new insight listening to the Confession CD.
I agree, Jill, definitely no beating around the bush!
