Well, as I write this (Sunday evening, March 30) the University of Tennessee Lady Vols are "spanking" the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team in the NCAA women's basketball playoffs!  I sure do hope that the Pope understands if I cheer for the Lady Vols although I know that CajunRick will be disgusted! :woohoo:

Did you happen to notice that the Lady Vols are not the only SEC team in the Elite 8?

Yes, I did notice that, however, I wanted to defer to you, giving you the honor of mentioning that!  :D  And I will cheer for them as long as they are not playing Tennessee! Ha, ha!  Meanwhile, the Lady Vols have to get past those ol' Texas A & M "Aggies" this coming Tuesday night!!

Hmmm...Will the Stanford Tree get by the Terps and into the Final Four?

Will the Lady Vols get by the Aggies?

Could there be another Stanford/Tennesse showdown in the future?  Will the Tree finally break the jinx and topple the Lady Vols...?  Who knows? Will Wiggins the Great put on her best show? Don't know...but she's peaking at the right time and has a powerful group to back her when she's covered.

Just the regionals and final four to go.   But the anticipation is building here..................Go Lady Cardinal.

Only one thing is certain.  Whoever wants to win the final four has to get past the Lady Tigers!  LSU hasn't had a title now for three months!  It's time for another trophy.

The Lady Tigers are first and foremost ladies.  They will avoid bloodshed.

At least the dog is understanding one word that was actually spoken.  The non-sports nut hears words that aren't there!

Besides, I prefer Mary Ann.
