For the foreseeable future, I will be like, to borrow Churchill's words, "a flying buttress, supporting the Catholic Church from the outside". Even so, I remain your friend and your brother. I so enjoyed the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United States and followed it closely, prayerfully and with great interest. Praying for traveling safety for the Pope and his entourage, I also prayed that the Roman Catholic Church, worldwide, will, in the next several years, increase exponentially at least from one billion to TWO billion and that it will increase, here in the United States, from around 60 million to well over 120 million and that it will always truly worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ as I know that it will and does now. I am very grateful that the Roman Catholic Church exists and for all that it does here in the United States and throughout the world. I am also very grateful to EWTN and for CHNI and the CHNI Forums - they are truly a blessing! I'll still be around here for a good while. I just wanted to say all this as the Pope wings his way back to the Vatican.
