CajunRick has been in the hospital!  In the prayer requests section, he said that he had just gotten out! I hope that everyone will send him words of encouragment and remember him in prayer!

My Resident was a UT grad who, of course, came to the LSU system to make sure he actually learned something.  Nice guy even though he did talk funny.

He said he wore an orange and black stethescope cover just for me on the day I was released.

:roflol: Oh, my ribs hurt after laughing so hard!  I would have LOVED to have seen your expression!  :roflmho:  And I am sure that the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine is very proud of that guy!  Uh, I mean, College of MEDICINE!!! ;)  See, apparently they felt that SHOCK TREATMENT - seeing a UT alumnus about to treat you - was probably the best medicine for you!  Anyway, I am truly very glad that you are getting better and pray for God's continued healing for you, good Cajun! :praying:

I'm just happy to report that at least one UT grad could qualify at LSU! :waving:

Rick,

I hope you are feeling better. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

You should commend your daughter's good taste.

For best taste experience, Pam, mind the date on the wrapper and don’t eat the dead ones.

Wrapper?  Is that the chewy part on the outside?  :shrugging:

I have it on good authority that Kermie prefers fresh.

Put enough Tabasco on it, and he can't tell the difference.  His taste tends to the more exotic.  He prefers flies on the wing and pigs on the hoof dressed in evening wear.

Of course, in Cajun country we don't call it a "wrapper", we call it a "shell", and it wraps all sorts of seafood -- crabs, crawfish, shrimp, oysters, etc.

But it does carry a date stamp, doesn’t it? We wouldn’t want to be feeding Kermie anything outdated. He’s green enough without getting sick.

Don't need no date stamp if they walk into the pot!

That wouldn’t pass government inspection, Rick. Gotta have a date stamp or they won’t release it.
