Tonight on EWTN, they had a special presentation whereby Father Benedict gave a teaching on the Ascension. It was amazing. I have heard many messages on this subject, all Protestant, but this message by far was the most thought-provoking, at least to me. He gets right to the heart of the Scriptures, and rather than teach it from a purely cerebral place, he zeroes in on the human heart. One of his big points was the word "always" ..... how often have we read that word in Scripture and just "read" it ... not giving it much, if any, real thought.

| I caught his show tonight. Msgr. Stephen Hrynuck, he is still an active priest at 96, and Father Benedict were so cute together - don't know if that is a way to describe it - but they made me chuckle, so very preciuous to our Lord. Truly both of those men are awesome gifts of God to a hurting world. Thank you Jesus!
