Welcome, Gayle, I'm sure lots of our members will be interested in your journey, as well as your interactions with your husband during the time he was Catholic and you weren't, and what led you to follow him.  I know you'll be a valuable contributor to the forum, and we look forward to hearing your full conversion story!

My Englishman(we have been married for 6 years next February) has been a Catholic for 20 years and our interactions about the faith were very diplomatic and he DID NOT push me to become a Catholic, I did it on my free will. Also, I have which I think are valid reasons why I am becoming a Catholic.

Shalom to and through Gayle!  :waving:  Welcome to The Church, and the Coming Home Forums!

Bear Hugs to Paddington Bear who turns 50 years old on 25 June and 25 Dec. (since his author Michael Bond gave him two birthdays, or is that BEARthdays!)  Well, Paddington may not be Catholic, but your former PM is!  God save the Queen and the King and everyone else!  Hallelujah!  Cheerio for now!

Kathy, GoFisher!

(yeay, I finally figured out how to abbreviate my faith history so it all shows up in the viewable profile!)
