Hi, Marshall,

I returned home this evening to find my crabapple tree down in the front yard. I did not catch a forecast today before leaving town. What areas were affected?

I was wondering the same thing-- is everyone okay from the tornados and such?

I made it home fine, without much difficulty (short delay in Salt Lake City).

:waving:Well, I am very glad that Becky and Kayla are OK! I see where Annie is back from the monastery too and am glad that she is safe!  Apparently there were a number of places in Georgia which were hard hit as well as in North Carolina and other southeastern areas and out in the midwest! I just saw on the news where there was about a 7.8 on the Richter Scale earthquake in China, God help them, although I don't know of anybody here who is in China.  Well, again, hope everybody is OK! May God bless and protect all of you! :praying:  Now, if you will excuse me, our stove finally gave out, this past weekend, after ten years of service, and I have been "going 'round and 'round with a certain major department store about trying to get a new one delivered! Any priests looking in here will have to bless me because I may have sinned due to the AWFUL things I have thought about the customer service people of that store!!!  :headbang::eyeroll:

My oldest brother lives in Hong Kong and works in some part of China. HE only emails sporadically but no clue if he works in the area that got hit, and no way to contact him. If he emails, he will give us his take on what happened. He used to live in San Francisco, so he ought to be prepared for earthquakes.
