I have two questions:  Is it okay to log in during the morning and stay logged in all day even when we're not at the computer?  Do we get "kicked off" at some point?  Does it mess up your count of members online?

Also, are the times given when someone posts the local time of that person or a standard time such as Eastern Time?      Thanks!

You are disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. dropped from the list of active users, and dropped from the user count.  When you become active again, your system reads the cookie it stores on your computer and automatically logs you back in.  The process is seamless but it can take a little time.  Often, if you have taken more than 15 minutes to compose a message, you are logged out and then when you click "Save" you have to be logged back on first.  People often become impatient and hit "Save" again, resulting in duplicate posts.  Keeping the forum open all day is not a problem but remember than when you return after a period of inactivity, it will take a little longer go respond.

It should be your computer's local time if it is set correctly.  For example, you look at the weekly chat in the Calendar it will show it as 8-10 pm. I see it as 7-9 pm.
