Hello.  I'm a new member, and a recent convert to the Catholic Church.  I was received into the Church Easter Vigil April 7, 2007 and I'm happy to be here.

Welcome Jane!  You have some company on the board from Michigan.  It's good to have you with us, and we will be happy to listen to your comments and try to answer your questions.  My husband and I lived in Walled Lake, Mich. when we were first married (37 years ago).  It didn't take us long to move back south so we could stop shivering!  Welcome home to the Catholic Church and God bless

Thank you.  It's a beautiful day here with fresh snow on the ground and lining tree branches.

I've listened to the denominational forum discussions that Marcus Grodi has chaired on Journey Home, and I wonder if they are available on DVD?

Welcome to the forum.  We look forward to reading your full conversion story when you're ready to share it with us.

All Journey Home programs are available for download (audio only) and purchase (audio and video) from EWTN.

I'm at work right now so I can't look up a link, but if you have trouble find them let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.

A warm welcome to Jane, to both the Church and this forum!

I've listened to the denominational forum discussions that Marcus Grodi has chaired on Journey Home, and I wonder if they are available on DVD?

As Rick said, audio files are available to listen to for free, at EWTN. Here's another page that categorizes the audio files differently.

Or you can purchase audio and video archives of the show.

Not all of these are DVDs, though. Some are VHS. Some appear to be audio only.

For DVDs only, EWTN offers 119 shows of The Journey Home. Here is another purchase page that categorizes the shows by year.

Perhaps by searching on one or more of these pages you can find exactly what you are looking for.

Hello everyone,

First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS!  I pray that you all abundantly blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit during this Christmas season.

On to business, I am brand new here, and have been poking around a bit trying to figure out where to get started in the forums.  Quite vast.  This appears to be the place?  Maybe?

Anyways, if someone could direct me towards the thread that I should post my "reversion" story in, that would be fantastic, and hopefully my story and subsequent questions will help me get some answers and perhaps help someone else as well.

Thank you all in advance for your patience, and once again Merry Christmas!

Mike Ewing

Welcome Mike.  Fellowship Hall is our place for sharing each other's lives and the events we deal with every day.  We have a forum called "Conversion Stories" for those who wish to relate the details of what brought them to (or back to) the Church.  Other forums are titled, but if you ever have any doubt where to post something, just hit the "New Topic" button and post it in Fellowship Hall.  If we think it needs to be moved, we'll move it for you.  But it's important that you post it as a "New Topic" because we don't have the technical ability to move individual messages, only entire threads.

Glad to have you with us.

Hi Pito, I'm Diana & new at the forum also. I consider myself a "cradle Catholic" as I was baptized at age 7. I am looking forward to learning much more about my faith & to hopefully hear from others who are either former Assembly of God members or married to a former member (as I am). I'm happy to be here too!

Hi, Diana, welcome to the forum.  I just noticed your first message.  I think there are some former AOG members here, so I'm sure they'll be chiming in from time to time.

Glad tohave you with us.
