Good evening, everyone.

I tried to change my avatar from Mary's picture to one of myself, seeing as most members here have done this. I thought I'd do the same, to aid people in getting to know who I am better.

But when I changed it, it just stayed the same. In my avatar page, it shows my picture, but on here it shows Mary's. [I changed it on Monday.]

Is this perhaps the work of the Blessed Virgin - her not wanting me to remove her picture? :P:D *Joking*

Is there an error, by any chance? Or can't One change One's avatar?

I thought I'd just name this to the moderators, for future reference to such errors.

If anyone could help me out, I'd be thankful.

God bless.

Hi Danica.  Isn't that your lovely picture with the blue flowers?  That's your avatar isn't it?

Log out and log back in, and you should see the new avatar.  The rest of us see it already.

lol At first, when you said your avatar was a pic of Mary, I thought it was a REALLY realistic-looking statue of Mary. Our Lady of the Flowers, or something. :D (j/k)

I've only seen you all this time.

Don't feel bad.  I did the same thing last time I changed mine.  It took me two days to realize that was the problem.  I was still seeing my old avatar while others were commenting on my new one!

In case you're wondering, that is not my picture. Our patristics study group has adopted an icon of St. Polycarp for our "logo".

Thank you, Rick. Well, I still see my old picture, but that's alright. I love seeing Mary instead of myself.

I love being able to see all of you (well, almost everyone).

God bless. :)
