I don't ask for a lot, or complain very much (no comments from the peanut gallery!) but could we please have some more smilies?

 Pleeeaaaassseee????? {said in my best whiney kid voice}

If you grant my wish, I promise to not take threads off topic for a whole week.  Either that, or say an extra Hail Mary.  I would bet on the latter, if I were you. :P

Let's start a suggestion list, Ali. What kinds of faces do you want to see?

OK! :D

Doing the wave.
head rolling laughing -- roflol
This is one you and I would use a lot.
We could use one when posting to Laura, it's a bowing not worthy gif ;)

Waving
This has a "help" banner that opens up
group hug, who doesn't need one?

Sort of like a screaming face
shrugging shoulders.
Ha!  Beating a dead horse, we've had some threads like that, lol.

this one has a bag that pulls down over it's face from embarressment, lol

The gif files move, and I couldn't get them to do that here, so this is the best I could do.

ETA -- Oh, hey, they do work!  Cool!!!

Weird! Some of the smileys don't show up in IE. Usually it's Firefox that's out of whack. In IE, everything below the tiptoeing guy isn't visible, nor is anything to the right of him and below. The oops guy is the last thing you can see on the right.

And where's the dead horse??

And here's me: :chatterbox:

And this is for Rick: :bowing:

I didn't put them all up.  I had a thousand or so of my own saved, so I put a few of Ali's and some of mine, and left the rest out.  I'll try to rotate them from time to time if someone reminds me, and a lot are really inappropriate.  I tried to leave out the ones that express judgment, anti-Christian sentiments, etc., so I left off the dead horse on purpose.  I may take off the wave as well, since it skews the lineup of the emoties.

Being male, however, I was absolutely certain to leave in the one that offers chocolate:  :chocolate:

The chocolate's cute, but the dead horse might be more useful.

You might be interested in a research review I read a few minutes ago. The project was done at the University of Nottingham in England. The results were that eating dark chocolate or drinking a cocoa drink rich in flavonols, boosts blood flow to the brain and therefore boosts brain functioning. The benefits go on for two to three hours.  :)   :D   :waving:   :bowing:

All true but there is an additional benefit particular to women.  Let's just say that to men, chocolate is a treat.  To women, it is an emotional experience!  :embarrassed:

:typing: I was going to subscribe to one of those emoticon sites that are always popping up on various places on the net until one of our IT gurus at work warned me that those sites are so full of holes and vulnerabilities, a ton of hacker trucks could drive through. So I'm left to coping individual ones that I see on forums like this one. Is that stealing??:shrugging::shrugging:

I don't think so.  I know the ones I put up here are all in the public domain.
