Hello again.

I was wondering about this matter. If my wife and I start our RCIA classes and then have to move out of town, can we take them up or continue in another city or even state?

Blessing,

catholicdan.

Usually, yes.  If you are in the military, the Military Archdiocese has a specific RCIA program used on American military bases worldwide.

I am not in the Military but because of our present situation (losing our apartment and my job) I might have to seek for work in another city or even county or state depending on the circumstance. That is why I asked. We went from 1,700 a month to zero in 30 days, so because of the economy in the area I am being forced to look farther away. I might even have to take my family to another state due to some job possibilities that I have seen online.

Dan, I'll say a prayer for you guys (actually already did). I'm sure God has a plan. If you do have to move it could be that your new location will be the best Parish for you and your family and perhaps your new job will provide even more blessings. Have Faith!

Joe
