Dear Friends:

I just talked to Father Joe. Bishop Gainer signed my papers this morning. They missed today's mail but will go out tomorrow in the mail and also be faxed to the Rectory. He got verbal confirmation for my baptism also.

So looks like I will be swimming the Tiber on Saturday :-) .

Thank you for all your prayers! I KNOW they make a difference!

In His Love,

Ruth

What did Jesus say about faith the size of a mustard seed?  Sometimes it's easier to move heaven and earth than to move the Church!

We'll be waiting for you on this side of the Tiber Saturday night!   Hey, Ali, bring a robe!  Ruth is gonna be WET!

I rejoice with you, Ruth, and with all who will be baptized or entering into full communion at the Easter Vigil. This is the beginning of eternal life.

Thanks everybody!!

I went and bought a crucifix necklace (from my son-in-law the jeweler), and Father Joe blessed it last night.  Hubby hasn't noticed it yet, or is choosing to make no comment.

I have asked a friend to take pictures.  I promise to share :-)

So far I have two of my three daughters coming, at least one of my non-Catholic faculty, and a COC friend who is a retired professor (and was one of my teachers.  A Catholic friend from another parish is also coming.

And of course all the angels and saints will be there (and with each and every one of you, too!).

I'm positively giddy with anticipation...:D

God is good :bowing:

Ruth
