Chris Davis: Former Non-denominational

October 1, 2012 No Comments

When he was a toddler, the parents of Chris Davis divorced.  He and his mother left Kentucky for Washington State, but over the next decade, they moved quite a bit.  Socially, Chris looked to nondenominational youth groups to fill the void of revolving friendships and a chaotic lifestyle.  At the age of 16, he opted to move back to Kentucky to live with his father and stepmother.  Chris began to attend church occasionally but he found himself to be more influenced by culture than Christian teachings.  On his own as a young adult, Chris worked but partied hard on weekends.  His lifestyle led to a pregnant girl friend, and put him at a crossroads.  Chris shares the story of his developing journey of faith, particularly the significant signposts on his road to Catholicism.
