Christopher Dixon: Former United Methodist Minister

Chris was raised in a Methodist family but for many years his parents sent him to an Orthodox Presbyterian Sunday school. In college, he became serious about his faith in Christ. From his days at Princeton Theological Seminary, he believed that the early ecumenical councils were guided by the Holy Spirit, but he had no clear idea as to where that authority went after the Protestant Reformation. After serving as a United Methodist pastor for nine years, Chris and his wife Pat had a deep desire for unity and doctrinal authority.  God led them to his Catholic Church to fulfill this need in their lives.
