Dr. David Anders: Former Presbyterian
Dr. David Anders, former Presbyterian and one time Calvinist and Protestant historian, returns to The Journey Home program for a Q and A session. After his conversion to the Catholic Church in 2003, Dr. Anders has, among other ventures, become a Catechist, speaker and writer for the faith. He and Marcus, from the promptings of the phone-in and email questions, discuss some of the following topics: authority, saints, sola scripture, the Eucharist, suffering, Sacraments, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Dr. Anders is articulate in summarizing Catholic theology and is particularly knowledgeable when comparing and contrasting the Protestant and Catholic viewpoints on these topics.
