Frank Cronin spent his life through his first year in college in Catholic educational institutions, though, for the most part, it was a cultural rather than spiritual endeavor.  Working and switching to a community college, he made a conscious decision to become an atheist.  It lasted for 14 years, while, interestingly, maintaining a moral code.  Frank shares with Marcus the journey which led him first to reaffirm the reality of God, then to an understanding and faith in Jesus, and finally an encounter with the Holy Spirit, through encouragement of his wife and participation in the Assemblies of God denomination.  His graduate studies and a career in educational administration continued to form his faith and in 2007 he was received, with his family, into the Catholic Church.
