John Fraysier: Former Evangelical Free

November 14, 2011 No Comments

John Fraysier grew up as one of three children in an American Baptist family in upstate New York.  Active in his church, John affirmed his faith in baptism at age 12 – an important event for him.  He went off to college feeling the weight of impending adulthood and wondered whether he would make it that first month.  But John settled in, getting involved in the Inter-Varsity Fellowship.  It would be the place that his faith was developed and which led to a career for the next ten years following graduation.  It was also how he met his wife to be – a Catholic.  John shares the particulars of how that relationship would affect his life, both professionally and spiritually, and how the conversion of a friend’s brother, would ultimately lead him on his own journey into the Catholic Church.
