Leslie Blackwell: Revert from Secularism

Background: / /

May 12, 2014

Leslie grew up in an active Catholic home. As a child she loved everything Catholic. The many social changes of the 1960’s and the distractions of college drew her away from the faith. After college she obtained a position as a TV talk show host. Soon after she found she was pregnant. Seeing no other alternative, she got an abortion, then later another. In her brokenness, she began to hate the Church. After her father’s death, the witness of her aunt brought her home to God and the Catholic Church.

I just watched Leslie’s story. What a beautiful and courageous woman! I was mesmerized by her story. I was wondering if she has a book, a memoir, etc. I would so like to see how her family responded during her journey and later. Thank you, Leslie for sharing with others.

Thank you for your kind words about the program Elizabeth. Unfortunately, as far as we know, Leslie does not have a book or other material on her conversion story. I’m sorry we could not be of more help.
